Flexmap Terms of Use
Effective date: 14 October 2026 · Who you are agreeing with: Igor Boliaev IE (Individual Entrepreneur), Republic of Armenia ("we", "us") · Contact: support@flexmap.app
1. What these terms cover
Flexmap is an iPhone app that turns workouts from Apple Health into cards and videos you can share. By downloading or using Flexmap you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which applies to every app from the App Store. Where these terms and the Apple EULA disagree, the Apple EULA wins for anything it covers.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Your license
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Flexmap on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.
3. Free and Pro
The free version of Flexmap includes every template, palette and font, the map, your own photo behind the card, PNG export, your first video and your first three canvas cards. Free exports carry a small "Flexmap" wordmark.
Flexmap Pro removes the wordmark, removes the limit on videos and opens the Canvas for every workout. Pro is sold as:
- a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial,
- a monthly subscription,
- a one-time lifetime purchase.
Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store in your local currency.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends or the current period ends. You can cancel at any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and the unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Prices may change; Apple will notify you before a price change takes effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring purchases: a purchase is tied to your Apple Account. Use "Restore purchases" in the app on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
4. Your workouts and your cards
Your workouts, routes, heart-rate data and photos stay on your phone; Flexmap does not upload them. How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The cards and videos you make are yours. You can post them, print them and use them however you like, including commercially. We claim no rights in them.
5. Map data
The map under your route is built from OpenStreetMap data, served through Flexmap's own map server. OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and licensed under the Open Database License. Every card and video that shows the map carries the credit "Protomaps © OpenStreetMap contributors"; please leave that credit in place when you share, as the license requires.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Flexmap to break the law, to harass anyone, or to pass off someone else's workout as your own. Do not attempt to interfere with the map server or to use it outside the app. We may stop serving map imagery to a device that abuses the service.
7. Health information
Flexmap displays data that Apple Health already holds. It does not give medical advice, does not diagnose anything, and is not a medical device. Talk to a doctor about your training; do not rely on the app for health decisions.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, pause or discontinue any feature, including the map server, at any time. We will try to give notice of changes that matter, but we do not promise that any feature will remain available. We may update these terms; the current version is always at flexmap.app/terms, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
9. No warranty
Flexmap is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of Flexmap. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Flexmap in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer in your country.
11. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Flexmap. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law gives you stronger protection.
